So I have told a couple of the boys I am not interested in a second date and I had a second date yesterday with Erik.
He created the date which was a scavenger hunt. He found this app Stray Boots.
And we completed the scavenger hunt by texting in the answers or photos. We completed the Penn Quarter/China Town hunt. It contained 19 questions and allowed us to walk all over the area and see areas of Washington DC that I had never experienced before. It takes you to places that are free and allows you to go at your own pace. I am extremely competitive which I tried to tone down for our second date, however we only got 1 question wrong. They do have a "hint" option, but of course, I couldn't bring myself to use it.
I have to say that I have never experienced a date like this. Usually guys just ask you to dinner and the movies, this was a really awesome idea. I don't know about you but I love the DC history and the ability to be active, it happened to be a beautiful weekend in the city. I highly recommend this as a date idea. It was really fun and with summer coming, this is a great way to either experience the city for the first time or see parts you never have. ENJOY!!!
Until next time...

So I threw a party.... Here is the important information.
Cherry Blossomtini: I won't lie I am not creative enough to come up with my own drink but this recipe was my favorite that I tried.
Here are my invitations from vistaprint:

Here is my wall art for the party from this etsy vendor:

We had an awesome time. I made pink frosting cupcakes, I wish I could have been more creative, but I wasn't. It was a great time and an awesome way to start off spring.

Funday Friday - Evil Dead Movie Review
Evil Dead Movie Review
I had no idea this was a remake to start. So you may recognize this....
Let's just say I am a horror movie lover, nothing scares me and nothing grosses me out. I never closed my eyes once for any Saw movie or any movie ever. With that said, I did get grossed out during 2 parts of this movie - spoiler alert. I did say, "ewww" to when the girl was sawing her own face off with a piece of mirror shard and when another girl cut her arm off with a kitchen saw and then it hung with a piece of muscle and fell to the floor. It did look very real with both incidents so that is probably how I got the eww. I didn't close my eyes or get scared once. I know... I should have been a doctor or a police investigator, it is a talent, I don't mean to brag or sound arrogant. This is just a truth that nothing grosses me out. :)
My favorite line from the movie, the possessed girl says to her brother, "Come here pretty boy, let me suck your d***." The voice is so hysterical you cannot help yourself but to laugh because it comes at the most non-logical moment for some possessed demon to be sexual. But what can I say I laugh at stupid things.
Overall, the plot was predictable, it looked like Cabin in the Woods - which I loved, was the scene of the movie. It was almost like the producer said, hey you are done with the movie, let me borrow it and make a bad remake. Worth watching once the movie is free on Netflix.

Dr. Phil's Life Code
I love me some Dr. Phil. I mean that cute bald head, I can't get enough. I watch his show every day and have some favorite quotes of his.
"A Predictor of Future behavior is relevant past behavior"
"You can't change what you don't acknowledge"
"If you want more, you have to require more of yourself"
"Never put more into a relationship than you can afford to lose"
I read his book, Life Code.
This book shares what you do about BAITERs
- Backstabbers
- Abusers
- Imposters
- Takers
- Exploiters
- Reckless
People in your life. Do you know anyone who is currently or has done this to you? This book gives you so really awesome techniques and insight to the fact that it is OKAY to not trust everyone.
After all of my relationship issues lately, I thought this was the perfect book to read and I was right. I learned that the "gut" feeling I get, I need to listen more and follow my gut and heart with what it is saying. If I get a bad feeling about someone it is okay to not pursue a friendship or relationship with them. This means I am protecting myself and family.
You still need to be nice and respectful of all people but that doesn't mean you have to go that extra step with or for them. It is also OKAY to say NO! I am really working on this one. I need to say no a lot more, I know this will make me less stressed.

Certain Dri - Tuesday Review!
**** I was not paid for this review.
Do you ever find yourself sweating through your tops? I know that no matter what antiperspirant I use, I would sweat through my tops. As a teacher or any woman, this is not only embarrassing, but distracting as students will mention any imperfection that you have to get you distracted from your lesson.
So I started using CertainDri on the recommendation of a friend. I have only found the CertainDri Regular Roll on in the stores. I have found it at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Safeway, pretty much anywhere that has other antiperspirants.
Here is CertainDri on Amazon, as you can see it is not extremely expensive.
You put the CertainDri on at night before you go to bed. I do it without a shirt on. It is a roller which took some getting used to for me as I have always used solids or gels. You have to let it dry, then you go to bed. In the morning, I take a shower as usual and put on my regular antiperspirant which I use one of two products, pictures shown below.

Secret Clinical
I like both of these products in smell and how they work. Basically CertainDri is a helper to your regular product. I believe it is a miracle and I am so happy that I have found it. I have ordered the AM CertainDri Product and am awaiting to try it. Now you know my secret weapon - it has been great on dates as well, because I am usually nervous and sweating more than I normally do.

The 12 baby chick names, we tried for fun names:
- Sarah Fraser
- Beavis
- Butthead
- Kim
- Kourtney
- Khloe
- Rob
- Kris
- Bruce
- Lucy
- Ethel
- My Principal's Name
So we numbered them, transferred the eggs to the egg turner and made sure the temperature was between 100-101 degrees. We will hatch these eggs, we will hatch these eggs, yes, I continue to tell myself this.
DAY 1 = SUCCESS!!
